Range of Core /Elective options offered by the University and those opted by the college :

Core Compulsory Special Subjects:

(B.A/B.Com and M.A/M.Com.) Four Subjects are offered as special subjects: English, Sanskrit, Gujarati and Accountancy are available to students as Core Compulsory / Special Subjects.

 

Core Elective Subjects:

Sanskrit, Gujarati, Hindi, Sociology, Indian Constitution, Personality Development and Sports, Secretarial Practice, Statistics, Computer, Tally, Environment and Disaster Management, Industrial Entrepreneurship, General Knowledge.

 

Choice Based Credit System and range of subject options:

The CBCS System has been implemented since 2011-12 with wide range of Subjects (as mentioned above) options are available to students.

 

Courses offered in modular form:

• B.A/B.Com. SEM-I, II, III, IV,V,VI 
• M.A/M.Com. SEM-I, II, III, IV 
• All Courses are divided into units.

 

Credit transfer and accumulation facility:

Credit Transfer and accumulation facility is not yet implemented in our State / University. It is under Consideration.

 

Lateral and vertical mobility within and across programmes and courses:

It exists we have lateral mobility in Subjects like Sanskrit, Gujarati and English. In Commerce Lateral Mobility is available only in Elective Subjects.

 

Enrichment courses:

• We offer certificate of English Proficiency Test conducted by SCOPE (Short-term)
• We offer Basic Computer Courses.(Short-term)

• Moreover, the Students can avail the benefits of courses offered by BAOU Study Center to enrich their knowledge and skills.
